Mr. and Mrs. Michael Eugene Wood of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Bailey Madison Wood, to John Wesley Daughdrill III of Prentiss.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Dear Bailey of Madison and the late Carl Delton Winstead of Jackson, the late Robert Ernest Stevens of Pearl and the late Grace Hunt Wood of Madison and Bobbie Floyd Wood and the late Michael Joseph Wood, both of Pensacola.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Daughdrill Jr. of Prentiss.
He is the grandson of Diane Smith Daughdrill and the late John Wesley Daughdrill of Prentiss, and the late Nevis Edwin Speights and the late Joyce Buckley Speights, both of Prentiss.
Dr. Wood is a 2015 graduate of Jackson Academy. In 2019, she graduated Cum Laude in exercise science from the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Dr. Wood earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2022. She is a physical therapist at Across the Board Therapy Group in Navarre, Fla.
Dr. Daughdrill is a 2015 graduate of Prentiss Christian School. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2019 with Magna Cum Laude honors in exercise science. While at Ole Miss, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity.
He is a 2022 Magna Cum Laude Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He currently works for ReNew Concierge Physical Therapy in Pensacola.
The couple will exchange vows June 29 at First Baptist Church in Pensacola with a reception to follow at 5Eleven Palafox.
