Madison and Rankin counties are funding the cost of multiple assistant district attorneys and would like the Legislature to help foot the bill.
The Madison Board of Supervisors and the Rankin County Board of Supervisors are asking the Legislature to pay the salaries of six assistant district attorneys and one investigator.
