NATIONAL SUMMARY
High pressure positioned over the mid-Atlantic region will
bring another day of mostly sunny skies and warm conditions
tomorrow. Temperatures will continue to trend between 5-15
degrees Fahrenheit above historical average from the
Tennessee and Ohio valleys through much of New England.
Meanwhile, a widespread storm will push across the Midwest
and Great Lakes region, bringing areas of rain and showers.
A cold front extending southward to Texas will spark rounds
of thunderstorms across the Central states. Across Texas and
Oklahoma, some storms can turn severe and bring the threat
of flash flooding, hail and damaging wind gusts. Across the
West, conditions will be largely dry, aside from a stray
shower or two in Montana. Warmth will build along the West
coast.
