The Nation's Weather for Thursday, January 4, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Snow showers will occur across portions of the Northeast
tomorrow, while there can be a snow shower mixed with rain
for a time along the coast from New Jersey to Maine. Some of
these snow showers can be heavy at times, which could
quickly reduce visibility and lead to slippery travel in
spots. Farther south, there can be a few showers in the
Florida Peninsula as a weak cold front passes through. In
the Southwest, a potent storm will continue to bring snow to
parts of northern New Mexico, Colorado and Utah, while rain
showers can occur in southern New Mexico and Texas.
Meanwhile, another storm moving into the Northwest will
spread showers mainly along the coast, and snow showers can
develop in the Cascades. Mostly dry conditions will return
to California and continue across the Midwest.
