_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A swath of snow will create treacherous travel from Michigan
to Oklahoma tomorrow, with the heaviest snow from central
Illinois through southern Missouri and northwestern
Arkansas. In the Southeast, downpours will continue to bring
drought relief but also raise the risk of localized flash
flooding. Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to
erupt overnight, especially in central South Carolina,
eastern Georgia and the northern Florida Peninsula. Flooding
downpours, isolated tornadoes, hail and damaging wind gusts
will all be possible. Unseasonably cold air will pour into
the Plains, with temperatures not expected to get above 10
degrees in northwestern Minnesota and portions of North
Dakota. Meanwhile, central and South Florida will be warm
