NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will move to the East Coast tomorrow. Heavy
snow will impact interior areas from New York southward
through much of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, eastern
Kentucky, western Virginia eastern Tennessee and western
North Carolina. In northern New York and northwestern New
England, the combination of heavy snow and strong winds will
create an all-out blizzard. Along the coast, heavy rain can
cause localized flooding from eastern Maine to New Jersey.
Rain may end as snow along the coast as well, but the main
concern will be plunging temperatures potentially causing
wet areas to freeze. Farther south, severe thunderstorms are
expected to rumble from the Delmarva Peninsula to Florida.
The highest risk of tornadoes will exist from eastern North
Carolina to northern Florida.
