NATIONAL SUMMARY
A strong cold front will continue traveling over the central
part of the nation tomorrow, bringing showers and
thunderstorms from Michigan to Texas and Louisiana. Some
thunderstorms will be capable to producing small hail and
gusty winds from far northeastern Arkansas to southern
Michigan. Farther north, rain can mix with snow at times in
Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
High pressure off the East coast will continue to promote
dry and very warm conditions, and temperatures can challenge
records across the region. On the the other side of the
country, rain and mountain snow showers will spread across
the Northwest and the northern Rockies as another storm
pushes onto the coast. Much of the Southwest and the Plains
will remain dry, with nice weather for Halloween activities.
