NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers and thunderstorms over the Mississippi River Valley
will expand into the Tennessee River Valley throughout
tomorrow. Rain and thunderstorms will cover much of the Ohio
River Valley; this rain will be especially beneficial to
drought-stricken areas. Periods of rain will also fall in
Pennsylvania and western New York. Showers will cover much
of the Great Lakes region. Spotty showers can be expected
from the eastern coast of Florida into eastern Georgia,
western North and South Carolina and Virginia. Those showers
will spread into the Northeast during the evening. In the
Northwest, a storm coming onshore will bring showers and
rain to western Oregon and Washington. Along the coast, it
will be windy to very windy. In eastern and southern Texas
it will be warm to very warm.
