The Nation's Weather for Monday, March 24, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A mix of wet snow and rain is forecast to traverse across
New England tomorrow, leading to slow and slippery travel
early in the day from northern New York to New Hampshire.
Temperatures will not be as cool across the mid-Atlantic, so
only rain showers can be expected. Thunderstorms will erupt
across the Southeast as well. From Louisiana to southwestern
Georgia and the Panhandle of Florida, storms will be capable
of producing flooding downpours, hail and localized damaging
wind gusts of 60-70 mph. Elsewhere, gusty winds will develop
over the Ohio Valley and warm conditions are in store across
the Plains. Warm temperatures are also anticipated to extend
across the Southwest and Northwest, but showers will dampen
western Washington and dot portions of far western Montana
and South and North Dakota.
