_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A similar area that dealt with severe weather on Sunday can
once again experience severe thunderstorms tomorrow.
Thunderstorms that erupt from northeastern Texas into the
Mississippi and Ohio River valleys and Great Lakes are
capable of producing flash flooding, large hail, widespread
damaging wind gusts and tornadoes. Tornadoes are capable of
being long-tracked, violent and even more dangerous when
obscured by rain and darkness at night. The greatest risk of
these is from northern Louisiana into Arkansas, western
Tennessee and Kentucky, southeastern Missouri and Illinois
and southwestern Indiana. From the same storm, there can be
a swath of snow from Montana and Wyoming into the northern
Plains and northern Minnesota. Ice can occur again in places
such as northern Michigan and Wisconsin.
