WOW! What could come next? Residents at Ridgeland Place are locked in safe and sound! No one can leave the building, and no one can enter...guests, visitors, etc. must wait before each can enter once the quarantine is lifted and all is normal again. Safety and security of the residents are top priority.
The main dining room is closed and will remain closed until the rule is lifted. This beautiful room is closed to reduce the gathering of larger crowds. The kitchen will remain open to prepare three meals a day for the residents. These three meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner – will be delivered to the residents’ apartment. Eating alone is not top priority.
Group activities have been stopped in the building. Bible devotion is scheduled every day, except Sunday, at 9:30. There are only six that attend. People from the community were regular guests who spoke each day at devotion. Since these guests cannot come, each of the six who attend has agreed to fill in, therefore, each day is covered with a devotion.
I use “JESUS Always” by Sarah Young as my guide. The daily devotion is written as if Jesus were sitting knee to knee with you and looking you in the eyes. Daily devotions are written for a full year. You may want to try this method.
With GOD all things are possible. Matthew 19:26.
