It’s finally Fall. While this may not mean a lot in the way of weather, it means everything at Highland Village. The Village is gearing up for a season of entertainment, shopping and feasting like you’ve only dreamed of until now, and you’re invited. It really is the most wonderful time of the year. So, let’s get our party on while the weather catches up, yes?
We already love some of HV’s staple gatherings like Bend and Brew, Trivia Night and Fam Friday, so for the Fall and Winter seasons they’ll be taking these to the next level. Come enjoy Fam Friday Tricks and Treats on Friday, October 26 at 5 pm. There will be trick-or-treating, face painting, pumpkin decorating and memory making around every corner. Grab the costumes, the kids, the furbabies and come on out.
After the kids have had their Halloween fun, schedule a sitter and head back out to The Village Friday, November 2 for a post-Halloween Transylvanian Bash. Enjoy cocktails, snacks and photo ops in the HV Courtyard at 8 p.m. followed by a 9 p.m. screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show with a shadow cast from Fondren Theatre Workshop. Don your best costume and you may be in for a special prize.

Oooh, definitely cooler weather so I can wear my favorite Guess boots (shout out to my Cobbler, Delwyn Thornton, at Soles and Heels for keeping them like new for nearly a decade).
Have any inside scoop on what’s coming up at HV?
Always. We are pumped about Vamp Salon opening soon. I personally am ready for them to take me to new platinum shades. We also have a fun toy store pop up coming in for the holidays.
