Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Banks of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacqueline Brooke Banks, to Benjamin Wesley Carroll, son of The Reverend and Mrs. David Carroll of Madison.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hale of Flowood and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Banks of Florence. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Reverend and Mrs. Bill Carroll of Tupelo and the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert Smith of Jackson.
Miss Banks is a graduate of Jackson Academy and Mississippi College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in accounting with a minor in international business and a master’s of business administration. She also obtained a master’s in nursing through the University of Mississippi Medical Center and is currently a nurse practitioner with Palliative Care at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Banks was graduated from Madison Central High School and Rhodes College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in religious studies with a minor in philosophy. Dr. Carroll received a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is currently completing his neurosurgical residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
The couple will exchange vows August 1 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Jackson.
