Jane R. Magee, 90 years young, of Jackson, MS, died at Ridgeland’s Hospice Ministries. She passed away of natural causes to join our other loved ones in Heaven on January 7, 2021.

“Baby Jane”, as she was fondly referred to by her recently deceased Brother-In-Law, Charles Warwick, was born in Jackson on December 26, 1930, to Jane & Carroll Robinson. She graduated in 1948, from Central High School in Jackson and attended College at MUW in Columbus.

Jane married Thomas J. Emidy, and together they had two Sons, J. M. “Mike” & T.C. “Bubba” Emidy. She later married Dr. Curtis Magee, also of Jackson.

She enjoyed helping and entertaining children of all ages, during her job as a roller-skating guard at Funtime Skateland in Clinton. She was a very good Christian, and valued relationships with importance of faith and friendship. She displayed this love for helping others later in life while working and sharing with her Friends and Co-Workers at Galloway Church. She also shared a hobby with her Son and Grandsons of driving Mustang cars.

Jane is survived by Son, Mike Emidy and wife Nancy, with Grandsons Blake and Scott. Son, Bubba Emidy and wife Donna, with Granddaughter Erin and her children. Sister, Eileen Warwick, and Niece, Sharon, and Nephews, Andy, and Jon and their spouses & children.

Jane was predeceased by Carroll and Jane Robinson, Thomas J. Emidy, Curtis Magee and Tina Emidy.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 2:00pm on www.gallowayumc.org , due to COVID restrictions for large gatherings.

Memorial donations may be made in Jane Magee to Galloway United Methodist Church, 305 North Congress St., Jackson, MS 39201

Special Thanks to Sharon Sullivan at The Orchard on S. Pear Orchard in Ridgeland for wonderful care of Jane!
