Friends of Children benefit October 27

The 32nd Annual Friends of Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, October 27. This year, golfers will play at Annandale Golf Club, Country Club of Jackson, Reunion Golf & Country Club, and Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg. The tournament has raised more than $3.4 million.

Halloween and fall festivals scheduled throughout the northside for family fun

Oct. 31 is the traditional day for youngsters to dress in costume and trick-or-treat.
This year, Halloween falls on Friday. The last time that happened was in 2014 and the next time it will occur will be in 2031.
