Exciting changes have taken place at The Arbor, The Orchard’s beloved home for residents in need of skilled nursing care. Over the past few months, we have enhanced this special space with thoughtful renovations designed to create an even more welcoming, comfortable, and uplifting environment.
The updates included fresh paint in soothing tones, new flooring, and stylish sofas and chairs in both the dayroom and sunroom. Residents are also enjoying new window treatments that brighten and soften the rooms, as well as thoughtfully selected artwork that adds warmth and beauty to every corner.
Outdoors, an updated landscaped garden area now provides a refreshing retreat, inviting residents and their families to relax, visit, and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature. Inside, resident rooms have been updated with newly tiled bathrooms and refreshed finishes, designed for safety, accessibility, and comfort—helping to make everyday living more convenient and dignified. The renovation also included an updated nursing station, improving functionality for staff while ensuring residents receive care in an efficient and welcoming environment.
One of the most anticipated additions—the new electric fireplace in the dayroom—has already brought warmth and charm, transforming the space into a cozy retreat for residents, staff, and visitors alike. Together, these enhancements not only refresh the building but also enrich the daily experiences of those who call The Arbor home.
As The Arbor’s environment has been renewed, so too has its leadership chapter. After 32 remarkable years of service, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Dianne Bates, our longtime Nursing Home Administrator. Dianne’s leadership, compassion, and unwavering dedication have left a lasting impact on our community. She has touched the lives of countless residents, families, and staff, creating a legacy of excellence and care. We are deeply grateful for her decades of service and wish her every happiness in this next chapter of life.
At the same time, we are delighted to extend a warm welcome back to Caronda Trigg, who has rejoined The Orchard as our new Licensed Nursing Home Administrator at The Arbor. Many will remember Caronda from her time as Memory Care Director at The Rose Garden. Since then, she has expanded her leadership at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Jackson. With more than 14 years of compassionate healthcare experience, she brings steady leadership and a heartfelt passion for serving seniors. Her return is a true blessing for our residents and staff alike.
With its beautiful renovations complete and dedicated leadership in place, The Arbor is poised for a bright new chapter — one that honors the past, celebrates the present, and looks confidently toward the future.
