The Fondren Renaissance Foundation’s 26th annual Symphony at Sunset is planned for September 25 at the Cedars on Old Canton Road. The neighborhood tradition will feature the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra performing under the stars at 7 p.m. Pre-concert music will be performed on the front porch. Food and drinks and children’s activities will be offered. Also guests are welcome to bring picnics and blankets. It’s the perfect chance to enjoy great music and good company with your neighbors. Helping plan this year’s event are (from left) Shannon McLaughlin, Chris Hannibal, Doug Boone, Ryan Geary, Winston Lee, and Natalie Cosmich.
