The Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet will present its 33rd annual production of the The Nutcracker, on December 6–7 at the Jackson Academy Performing Arts Center. Performances will take place Saturday, at 3 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Following each matinee, audiences are invited to the Land of Sweets Tour—a family-friendly event where children can meet their favorite characters, take photos, collect souvenirs, and enjoy sweet treats and hot cocoa.
