Brigadier General Joseph Hillhouse Bowden slipped into the arms of Jesus 5:30 a.m. October the third 2023. He was born June 3, 1925 to Joseph Bowden Jr. and Rosa Dunbar (Wharton) Bowden. He lived a rich, full 98 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Bewey, and his daughter, Suzanne Wilkinson (Steve).
