Steadfast belief is the foundation of Christmas

Turning the clock back, and tearing several pages from the calendar so that everyone can reminisce, gives the residents at Inspired Living a glimpse of childhood.

Everyone was taught to believe in Santa Claus and to make a wish list for Christmas. The wish list was carefully written then it was addressed to Santa, dropped in the mail and sent to the North Pole. Upon receiving these letters, Mrs. Claus and her helpers went to work at their workshop at the North Pole. Letters from all over the world arrived just in time. Mrs. Claus was really in charge of the workshop. She and her helpers made sure all wish lists of toys for the boys and girls would be ready for delivery on Christmas Eve. Santa packed the toys in the sleigh, which would be flying through the sky being pulled by the eight reindeer. The sleigh and reindeer would cover the entire world in just one night.

Eyes were popping and filled with visions of sugar plums. Santa, in his magical manner, makes sure every toy is delivered on Christmas Eve.

Now, as the clock clicks forward, we return to adulthood. Our belief is very strong - stronger than ever. Our belief is also an easy process to follow - as easy as A, B, C.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of the Lord. Romans 3:23

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Acts 16:31

Confess me before men and I will confess you before my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32

With the ABCs deep in your heart, may our believing last forever and ever. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
