Our mighty country sits by, focused on the made-up rights of a tiny domestic population while losing interest in the true rights of a neighbor’s total population. This government seems more worried about those who want to rename their genitals in California than real victims suffering barbaric crimes in Ukraine. The absurdity of it: a government that will promote and even finance minors to have their sex medically modified, will not accord with transferring used airplanes to save other children from having their lives cruelly taken!
In a world where a supersonic missile can travel from the outskirts of Beijing to the center of Los Angeles in less than thirty minutes, the time to drive from Jackson to Canton, Ukraine is truly our neighbor. Freedom saved in one country preserves freedom in others, including ours. Modern science may make it possible to hide a person’s nature, but if a warhead lands nearby, he can kiss a larger part of his anatomy good-bye.
Today, all the world’s countries are neighbors. Every time the criminal dictatorship of totalitarian governments of the world rattle their nuclear sabers to get away with bullying the weak and innocent, it is a test of America’s conscience. What will the final verdict be on America’s incomplete response that effectively tolerates her democratic, Christian neighbor’s unjust loss of life, liberty and property? History’s verdict will be written by man. Eternity’s verdict will be written by God. More profound, then, what will Eternity’s verdict be?
