Two men were found hung in Mississippi on the very same day. One was black. One was white. Yet all I've seen are people only talking about one case and spinning it as a race issue.
This is not the time to push more division. Two families are grieving. Two lives are gone. Both deserve the same attention, the same care, and the same pursuit of truth.
Yes, we need answers. Yes, we must make sure nothing is being covered up. But we cannot ignore the fact that both a young black student and a white man lost their lives within hours of each other under nearly the same circumstances. That should make all of us stop and think deeper before rushing to scream hate crime or race.
This is about human lives. About mental health, justice, transparency, and the brokenness we see in this world. If we only focus on skin color, we miss the bigger picture.
Pray for both families. Pray for clarity. Pray we learn compassion for people, no matter what they look like.
