Attached drone picture shows retention pond built 30+ years ago to keep Northpark Mall drainage from overwhelming Purple Creek. The piping that retained water in the pond was broken and removed several months ago. The result urban flash flooding and increased erosion in Jackson neighborhoods that border Purple Creek.
