The city of Ridgeland, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, will continue to relax the enforcement of temporary sign ordinance regulations in an effort to help businesses with exposure and marketing.
Below is an updated list of rules and regulations for the remainder of May and June:
· Temporary banners and signs are allowed without permit but must comply with the sign ordinance.
·Temporary banners and signs shall be no larger than 32 square feet and no taller than six feet.
·Limit to one temporary banner and/or sign per street frontage.
·Temporary banners and signs shall not be placed in the right-of-way.
Unless otherwise extended or modified, regular enforcement of the Ridgeland sign ordinance will resume on June 16. Businesses should keep banners, signs and tents organized in a professional manner and follow best practices for safe and clean shopping environments.
