Road infrastructure work is being completed on at least seven streets in northeast Jackson LOHO neighborhood over the last few months.
The City of Jackson is funding the work through the 1% sales tax, state and federal money, according to Jackson Mayor John Hohrn, who said he has identified $150 million to improve Jackson streets.
Infrastructure committee member Pete Perry said additional streets in Belhaven, Fondren and other northeast Jackson neighborhoods were scheduled for repaving.
In the Loho Neighborhood, the following streets have been repaved Northeast Drive, Eastline Drive, Berkley Drive, Simwood Place, Crestview Place, Eastwood Place, and Douglas Drive at the Douglas Drive cul-de-sac.
