Robert Lee Wall (Bob), 83, a U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully at his home in Ridgeland on December 23, 2025.
Bob was born on October 16, 1942. A 1960 graduate of Forest Hill High School in Jackson, Bob dedicated his career to respiratory therapy. He helped develop the respiratory therapist program at Hinds Community College and served as the Director of Respiratory Therapy at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center for more than 36 years. After retiring, he continued caring for patients at the St. Dominic Hospital.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, William Robert Wall and Amelia Gwendolyn Wall; his wife, Paulette McClendon Wall; his son, Robert Christopher Wall.
He is survived by his daughter, Iva Sherrelle Terrell; grandson, Derek Terrell; brother, David Paul Wall, and his wife, Christine Wall; nieces, Elisabeth Wall Byrd and Whitney Wall White; and other cousins.
The family wishes to expend sincere thanks to those who provided care and support during Bob’s final years.
A private celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Galloway Methodist Church in Jackson.
