TRIPLE CROWN WINNERS

The 12U Major team, Mississippi Angels, won the 2019 Triple Crown Slumpbuster Series in Omaha. There were 291 teams in the tourney and 65 in their division. They went 8-0 and played California, Illinois, Texas, Georgia, Colorado, Arkansas and Nebraska teams.  They also finished the 12U Major Team in the State of Mississippi.


Makos High Point winner

Mississippi Makos Swim Club swimmer Jett Ngo (left) scored 32 points in the seventh/eight boys age group as the high point winner at the 2019 Eastern Section of the Southern Zone  Age Group Championships in Georgia. Brian Ware is the coach



First place freestyle

Mississippi Makos Swim Club swimmer Michael Robinson (right) received the following medals at the 2019 Eastern Section of the Southern Zone  Age Group Championships in Georgia:  first in  50-yard freestyle,100-yard freestyle; second 1000-yard freestyle; third in 500 and 200 yard freestyle.
