Arnold and Duddleston exchange wedding vows May 4 at Bridlewood

A service of worship celebrating the marriage of Jessica Ruth Arnold and Daniel Hartley Duddleston was held May 4 at Bridlewood of Madison at 7 p.m. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend David Felker.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Thomas Arnold of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Mary Ann Arnold and the Mr. John Robert Arnold of Starkville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hugh Bufkin of Madison.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. David Newell Duddleston of Madison. He is the grandson of the Mr. and Mrs. Claude Hartley and the late Martha Jane Hartley of Tupelo, and Lee Duddleston and the late Dixie Hervey Duddleston of Jackson.

The bride’s entrance was through an antique doorway and frame constructed and assembled on-site by the bride’s aunt and uncle, Don and Stacy Bufkin of Phoenix, Miss.

Nuptial music was presented by a string trio. The bride’s sister Regan Arnold Maxwell sang “In Christ Alone,” accompanied on keyboard by her husband Joseph Maxwell.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an original Mississippi designed gown. The gown was a fit and flair with cascading silk organza ruffles in an ivory tone. The train was a cathedral length with a bodice accented from the front to scoop of lower back. The veil, which was edged with crystals, was borrowed from one of the bridesmaids, Lindsey Thompson Brunson.

Attending as matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Regan Arnold Maxwell. Maid of honor was Daltria Toni Li. Bridesmaids were Haley Danielle Duddleston, Jane Anne Duddleston Riley, Jennifer Duddleston Ross, Natalie English Studdard, Charlotte Williams White, Catherine Walker Huelsing, Lisa Biswas, Cynthia Lee Reed, Tori Boykin Van Drunen, Lindsey Thompson Brunson, Anna Jamieson Young, and Sandra England Triplett.

They wore sky blue gowns in their personal choice of style. Their bouquets were filled with white roses, hydrangeas, eucalyptus and baby’s breath.

Flower girls were the couple’s nieces, Piper Dean, Hartley Ross and Cate Ross. Ringbearer was Nolan Duddleston, the bridegroom’s nephew. Program attendants were Jennifer Reid Rawson, Maribeth Barfield Hillhouse, Dana Jae Smith and Kaitlyn Nicole Renfrow.

The bridegroom’s father was best man. Groomsmen were David Newell Duddleston Jr., John Baylis Ross Jr., Thomas Patrick Riley, Joseph Lamar Maxwell IV, Aubrey Farrell Threadgill, Michael Lucas Taucher, Cameron Stevenson Ray, Alexander Watkins McRae, Charles Henry Goodwin, Marco Giorgio Aru, Grant Gardner Robinson, John Bartley Boykin, and William Hardin Stewart.
