Miss Bolen and Hardin to exchange wedding vows June 2 at Plein Air

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Michael Bolen of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Elizabeth Bolen, to Jordan Tyler Hardin, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ellis Hardin Jr. of Houston, Miss.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Tucker Jr. of Aberdeen, and the late Merle Copeland Erwin of Baldwyn.
Miss Bolen is a 2011 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School. She was graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2016, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. She was a member of the Delta Gamma fraternity. She is a ministry assistant at Pinelake Church in Oxford.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David H. Earnest, Lynn Sullivan and Carla Porter. He is the great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Mackie Weaver, all of Houston.
Hardin was graduated from Houston High School in 2011. He attended Mississippi State University and earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.
Hardin is an officer with the Oxford Police Department.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m. June 2 at the Chapel at Plein Air, Taylor.



Robert H. Watson will receive Mississippi College’s Award of Excellence at the university’s 2018 homecoming.

Activities include an October 26 awards banquet at Anderson Hall.
