Miss Hill and Christensen planning December 7 wedding at St. Richard Catholic Church

Mr. and Mrs. John Fikes Hill of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Stafford Hill, to Brett-Tyler Christensen, son of Kristy Michelle Christensen of Richland and Mr. and Mrs. Chad Everett Dennis of Florence.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lutz Hill of Madison and Willie Von McRaney Jr. of Dauphin Island and the late Patricia Walter McRaney.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Holladay of Richland, the late Russell William Christensen, and. Darnell Sudduth of Crystal Springs and the late Ronnie Lamar Sudduth

Miss Hill is a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School. She attended Mississippi State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. While a student at Mississippi State, she was an active member in Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is currently associated with Elite Integrated Therapy Centers in Greenville, S.C. as an occupational therapist.

Christensen is a graduate of Richland High School. He attended Holmes Community College where he earned an associate’s degree in biological sciences. He was graduated from Belhaven University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. At Holmes, he was a member of the baseball program and co-ed cheer squad. He was inducted into the Holmes Community College Hall of Fame in 2014. He is currently associated with Southside Christian School in Greenville, S.C. as a high school science teacher and baseball coach.

The couple will exchange vows December 7 at St. Richard Catholic Church. A reception will follow at Reunion Golf and Country Club.
