Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gerard Koury of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Bray Koury, to Joshua Luke Aron, son of Dr. James L. Aron and Ms. Sandra J. Giachelli of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Bolton of Jackson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Albert Koury of Leland. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mitzi Parker Aron and the late Jim Aron of Bruce, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris Giachelli of Indianola.
The couple are both 2015 graduates of Jackson Preparatory School. Miss Koury was graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and Aron will graduate from Mississippi State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture engineering. Both will be students of the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn in the summer of 2019.
The couple will be married June 14 in Málaga, Spain.
