Miss Loper and Miles planning August 17 wedding at St. Peter the Apostle

Dr. and Mrs. William Eugene Loper, III of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Taylor Loper, to Andrew Steven Miles, son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard John Miles of Madison.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lynn Taylor of Monroe, NC and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Eugene Loper, Jr. of Jackson.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Renee Burns of Madison and Susan and Clinton Miles of Michigan.

Miss Loper is a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School. She attended Mississippi State University for three years and was graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. While a student at Mississippi State, she was an active member in Chi Omega sorority and a Dean’s List student. She was presented in 2013 by the Debutante Club of Mississippi. She is currently assocoiated with Magnolia Family Dental Care in Ridgeland as a dental hygienist.

Miles is a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School. He attended Mississippi State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He was an active member of Phi Gamma Delta. He is currently attending nursing school at William Carey University.

The couple will exchange vows August 17 at the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle in downtown Jackson. The reception will follow at the Railroad District.

The 12U Major team, Mississippi Angels, won the 2019 Triple Crown Slumpbuster Series in Omaha. There were 291 teams in the tourney and 65 in their division.
