Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark Spencer of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Clark Spencer, to Randall Scott Weems, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Belk Weems of West Point.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Allene Ligon Allen and the late Kenneth (Bill) Allen of Jackson, the late Patsy Murphy Spencer of Yazoo City and the late Leslie Jenkins Spencer of Jackson. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Barbara Bailey Randall and the late James Bennett Randall Jr. of Indianola, and Mary Anne Weems and the late Ralph Hicks Weems Jr. of West Point.
Miss Spencer is a 2010 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School. She attended Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity. She was graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a master’s of occupational therapy in 2016. She is an occupational therapist at St. Dominic’s Hospital.
Weems is a 2008 graduate of Oak Hill Academy. At Mississippi State University, he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and served as an officer. He graduated magna cum laude in 2012 with a bachelor’s of business administration and in 2013 with a master’s of business administration. Weems is a vice president at HUB International.
The couple will exchange marriage vows July 28 at the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson with a reception to follow at Old Capitol Inn.
