Touch a Truck: Junior league hosts family event

The Junior League of Jackson will present Touch A Truck® Jackson March 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Trustmark Park in Pearl. Touch A Truck® Jackson is a family-friendly, hands-on event that offers opportunities for children to explore, climb, and touch trucks, emergency response vehicles, heavy machinery, and other equipment.

Capital Campaign: Wesley Biblical Seminary raises $3M

Wesley Biblical Seminary (WBS) will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year and in conjunction with this the seminary has launched its first-ever capital campaign, Steadfast. The campaign started in 2022 with more than $3 million raised. Now it is open to the public.
A reception was held recently for the kickoff.

Krewe de Cardinal: St. Richard holds Mardi Gras Ball

St. Richard Catholic School recently hosted the 2024 “Krewe de Cardinal, Jackson’s Biggest Mardi Gras Ball,” at The South Warehouse.
Guests enjoyed live music by DJ Hotsauce and the Groove Factor Band, signature cocktails, a bourbon bar, a champagne bar, silent auction, raffle, and the return of Casino Royale.
