R’land adds 18 unmarked units to police department

Ridgeland police reported they will use 18 vehicles as “unmarked units,” this year, a requirement under Mississippi law. Undercover cars typically are used to disguise police operations and are used for different types of missions. The cars are disguised by removing the logos, and lights.

Expedition Point Phase One should be finished by summer

Phase one of Expedition Point, slated to be finished this spring, has been postponed to the summer due to coronavirus delays.
Developed by Mark Frascogna and Frank Perkins, Expedition Point is located in Madison County at Brown’s Landing, between the crossing of Highway 43, Natchez Trace Parkway and the Reservoir.

Trails improve quality of life, economy

Before Ridgeland had an intricate trail system, the city was looking for a way to encourage citizens to go outside.

Amazon Distribution Center Update
