Our Declaration of Independence says: “…Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…” Government’s purpose is to secure our unalienable rights including Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. The government hasn’t done this. It has abused its powers to take our rights.
