January in Mississippi is wet and cold, and many days can pass without seeing the sun or enjoying the outdoors. When my children were much younger, we often decided that it would be fun for us to cook together on these long “inside” days. I dreamed that this would be a fun, educational, and an enriching family time - - Wrong.
