I grew up watching the original television show, Miami Vice. Much to my parents’ chagrin, I could not imagine anything cooler than being Crocket or Tubbs, the characters of the show -- undercover narcotics officers. I even insisted on wearing a blazer, sleaves rolled up, with a t-shirt, and loafers without socks.
