Mr. and Mrs. Louis Glazier Baine III of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Barrett Olivia Baine, to Brendan Lee Alpheus Beesley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Valory G. Beesley of Port Gibson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Glazier Baine Jr. of Jackson and the late Robert Donald Stigler and Betty Barrett Stigler of Greenwood.
Miss Baine graduated from Jackson Academy in 2013. She then attended Holmes Community College where she began her studies in business. While at Holmes, Barrett was a member of the Double AA Soccer team and the College Soccer Association. She continued her education at the University of Mississippi where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is currently a director with a physicians group in Flowood.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Alpheus Beesley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Endrew Lee, all of Port Gibson.
Brendan is a 2010 graduate of St. Aloysius High School. He is a graduate from the University of Mississippi where he received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master of business administration. He is the co-owner and president of V & B International, a hardwood sawmill, in Port Gibson.
The couple will gather with friends and family for a ceremony December 3 in Verbier, Switzerland.
