My journey
So, I'm still trying. I'm winded. Catching my breath. The grip. The swing. The setup. Trajectory. The Slicing. Alignment. Spin. The Chunk, Approach, etc.The mental calisthenics. It's a whole different world with a whole lotta verbiage requiring a completely new perspective and stance. Lesson #1) Hitting hard is usually, not better, than having a precise swing, and usually not necessary. #2) Developing muscle memory of an incorrect move requires correction, undoing and replacement of said incorrect movement. #3) Know all your clubs. Spread the 'love'.Especially short game clubs, close to the tee. SO MUCH TO LEARN. Tip, tip, tip of the iceberg. So very much. Overwhelming? Yes! Humbling? Yes! Invigorating? Rejuvenating? In spades. Ohhh. Lesson #4) For me. Don't take it too seriously. Enjoy. And there is nothing like learning what one didn't know they did-not-know about oneself. It's working these Pilates muscles for sure. You golfers, don't critique my stance or swing too harshly, 🤣🤣 #DalzBeginningGolfJourney #NotGivingUpYet #29DayzIn #NeverTooOldToLearn 🏑🏑⛳️
