Partying til the sun comes up sounds exciting but when the music stops and the crowd is gone do you have peace?
Drinking til your body shuts down sounds like release but when you wake up with regret and emptiness do you have peace?
Sleeping around to cover your brokenness sounds like love but when they leave and you’re still alone do you have peace?
Getting high til you can’t feel anymore sounds like freedom but when reality hits harder than before do you have peace?
Chasing money til your soul is dry sounds like success but when you lay in bed at night restless do you have peace?
People can see your smile. People can see your posts. People can see your confidence. But only you and God know if you have peace.
The truth is peace doesn’t come from people, pleasure, or possessions. Peace only comes from Jesus Christ.
