Rappelling down a building might sound wild (because it is), but for Semone, it’s also about stepping out of her comfort zone to support something bigger than herself.
“For me, it’s about more than just raising money—it’s about making noise for something that matters. I want people to pause, pay attention, and realize how powerful it is when we show up for a cause in bold, unexpected ways.”
When asked who inspires her most, Semone says it’s the people she’s met along the way. After nearly a decade of volunteering, she’s formed deep connections with individuals whose passion and resilience have left a lasting impact.
“Add to that my tight-knit circle of friends and my family—people who believe in me, cheer me on, and keep me grounded. These are the relationships I cherish deeply, and their support reminds me that I’m never doing this alone.”
