The 39th WellsFest will be held Saturday, Sept. 30, at Jamie Fowler Boyll Park in Jackson. The family-friendly festival kicks off with a pet parade at 9:30 a.m. followed by music from local bands from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., food trucks, children’s activities, arts and crafts vendors, a plant sale and a silent auction. Admission and parking are free. All proceeds will go to Operation Shoestring.
