Vicki Helfrich is executive officer of the Mississippi Wireless Communication Commission, the group that oversees the implementation and maintenance of the Mississippi Wireless Communications Network (MSWIN). Helfrich, a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, has held the position since February 2012.

Laura Walton Fenelon and Benjamin Bogy Lane were united in holy matrimony at seven o’clock in the evening October 26 at Galloway United Methodist Church. The Reverend Doctor John Joseph Shelton IV performed the double-ring ceremony in a sanctuary where the bride’s family has worshipped for four generations.
Samantha Drew Cook and Joseph Adam Melton were united in marriage in a 4 p.m. ceremony on July 29. The Grand Tetons served as the backdrop for the outdoor ceremony held at Diamond Cross Ranch.
