As I looked 40 yards to my right and then the same distance to my left, I could easily see my two sons George and John as they repeatedly shot at the thousands of doves that literally filled the sky from horizon to horizon.

Shane and Stacy Huff will likely never be empty-nesters. It’s a fact the two have had to come to terms with since adopting three special-needs children. Since 2013, the Huffs have opened their home and their hearts to three girls, two from China and one from Philadelphia.

My Mother’s Day cookbook

When my son was in kindergarten, a very thoughtful teacher came up with an excellent idea. She decided that it would be fun to get her students to submit their favorite recipe. She would collect these recipes and make a cookbook for the children to give their mothers for Mother’s Day.
