Road work is occurring on Bozeman Road in the city of Madison, in Madison County.
Road work has been ongoing for at least 6 months since at least as early as February 2025.
Work on the widening of Bozeman Road from Highway 463 to Gluckstadt Road is well underway.
Clearing and grubbing for phase one has been accomplished. Hemphill Construction is working at the intersection of Gluckstadt Road and Bozeman Road.
Phase I of the project includes widening Bozeman Road from Highway 463 to Reunion Parkway, adding a multiuse path from 463 to Gluckstadt Road and making improvements to the intersection of Gluckstadt Road and Bozeman Road. Construction is estimated to take 24 months to 30 months on Phase I.
Phase II of construction on Bozeman Road will five lane Bozeman Road from the northern limits of Reunion Parkway to the southern limits of Gluckstadt Road.

The Bozeman road area was inside the territory in the annexation legal case between Madison and Gluckstadt that includes a commercial corridor along the Reunion Parkway extension as well as the subdivisions of Belle Terre and Cherry Hill Plantation, which are off Bozeman Road, and the historic Episcopal Chapel of the Cross.
