Madison County officials have finalized and approved the 2018 road plan.

Among the large county road projects are Cherry Hill, County Line, Deerfield, Gluckstadt, Harvey’s Crossing, Highland Colony, Hoy Road, Reunion Parkway phases two and three, Sunnybrook, Tisdale and Weisenberger.

BOARD OKAYS RESERVOIR TIMBER SALE

Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (PRV) officials recently approved the sale for 104 acres of timber which will equal approximately $146,000 once harvested and thinned.

The timber is on two parcels of PRV land located in Madison County.

Developer amends Lost Rabbit plat to create larger lots for homes

The amended final plat was approved by both the Madison County Board of Supervisors and Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (PRV) board in February.

Madison police adding mobile command unit

A MOBILE COMMAND unit will soon be the Madison Police Department’s newest law enforcement accessory.

The unit, which will be complete in approximately two months, will allow officers to remain on site at large events and emergency scenes.
