When I was 16, working the fry counter at Chick-fil-A, I learned the value of hard work and the importance of customer service. I quickly understood that if I was going to be paid, I needed to be doing something of value. More importantly, I learned that the customer is always right—a philosophy that made Chick-fil-A a standout business and one that they still follow to this day.
That principle became a guiding force in my life. At JoyCARE, we don’t just provide a service—we listen. We prioritize what matters most to our clients and their families. Whether your loved one needs help rebuilding strength, sharpening memory, or simply finding joy in conversation, we tailor our approach to them—not a one-size-fits-all plan. Some need encouragement before anything else. Others need gentle motivation to stay active. Whatever their journey, we walk it with them.
Society seems to have lost its way when it comes to truly valuing people. But at JoyCARE, customer service is still at the top of our list. That commitment has kept us strong for over 10 years, helping seniors rediscover their purpose, independence, and joy.
Do you know a senior adult who is struggling? Maybe they need encouragement to stay active or someone who truly listens and understands them. If so, let’s talk. Call Jennifer Joy Bird at (601)-573-6344, and discover the difference real customer service can make in your loved one’s life.

I am a licensed and registered occupational therapist with more than 15 years’ experience treating the geriatric population. Upon graduation from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, I began my career at Methodist Rehabilitation Center where I gained experience treating victims of strokes and brain injuries, orthopedic surgery cases with emphasis on hip and knee replacements, amputees, and clients with generalized weakness. Following my tenure at MRC, I found my true passion caring for the geriatric population in various assisted living facilities. I have served as an occupational therapist and a Director of Rehabilitation Services. I am committed to providing quality, individualized care that enhances the lives of those I serve.
