What happened to my shirt? A miraculous sign on Good Friday in Nazareth.
I had no doubt God would answer my prayers to strengthen my faith. I carefully picked only two sturdy, dependable shirts for the trip. I tried them on to make sure they felt right and were in good condition. When I woke up the morning of Good Friday in Nazareth, I was amazed to find both of the sleeves torn down the middle, exactly the same. I immediately thought of the moment of Jesus' death when the temple curtain was torn in two.
Matthew 27:50-54:
50And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
51At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and e went into the holy city and appeared to many people.
54When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”
