Got new water meter! Oh boy.

I went to flush the toilet the other morning. No water. Living in Jackson, that meant uh oh! Turns out there were men in my yard installing a new water meter, even though the existing one, wireless and all, was working just fine. This meant cutting off the existing unleaky connection and leaving me with a convoluted leaky connection. Gotta love living in Jackson

Rico makes $1,700 a week, for less than 40 hours, $65 per meter. Been doing a year. Also, a roof contractor. He has a wife a three kids in Clinton. A working, family man! Nice guy. Nice truck.

Beats being a roofing supervisor. Much better with the cooler weather. In summer, he brings a big umbrella.

The pipes were not in line. Moving them could break them. But Rico had a plan! "I got this," he promised.

Lots of parts to work with. Rico's been doing this six months and now trains other installers. He could make $3,000 a week in Miami doing this but his wife doesn't want to move.
